Solar panels against the facade

We are all familiar with solar panels on the roof. But not every roof is suitable for a solar installation, or is too limited to meet a building's electricity demand. In such cases, solar panels against the facade are an interesting energy generator.

You use the available exterior of a building in the most efficient way. The energy wall generates extra green energy and is easy to pay back. And you contribute to the esthetic appearance of the building!

Energy-efficient facade cladding

Pixasolar panels are full-fledged facade elements that generate energy. The PixaBlack panels capture maximum sunlight thanks to their patented cell layout and busbar technology.

  • PixaBlack panels are made of high-quality monocrystalline PERC solar cells: reduces heat production and improves light absorption.
  • PixaBlack contains ultra-clear glass and therefore needs less sunlight to boot.
  • Smart circuit design reduces shadowing and maximises power.
  • The PixaBlack panel generates up to 200Wp per m2.

Design

With their sleek design, the black PixaBlack panels blend seamlessly into any façade project, in both home and office environments. The semi-matte finish reduces reflection on the surroundings and offers greater resistance to scratches and stains.

This way, the PixaBlack panels combine the highest performance with maximum aesthetics.

Pixamounting mounting system

With the specially developed Pixamounting mounting system, you quickly and easily install panels against the facade, just like on the roof. This recognisable method of installation is suitable for any facade type.

All visible mounting parts are black anodised and blend in completely with the installation. The clamps give the whole a premium look and retain their colour for years.

Safe

PixaBlack is certified as both a solar panel and a facade cladding. The panels are fully compliant with European building regulations.

  • The solar panels are protected by safety glass, encased in PVB film and a unique seal.
  • Safety glass shatters when broken into small pieces without sharp edges. The PVB film holds the pieces together in the panel.
  • This way, the panels not only remain intact, but also functional!
  • The PixaBlack panels were tested in the most extreme and wet weather conditions.
